1. Acceptance
These Terms govern Bahrain QR's app, website, accounts, QR tools, posters, digital cards and Apple Wallet passes. By using the service, the user agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy and confirms authority to act for any business represented.
2. Independent service
Bahrain QR is an independent design and QR generation utility, not a bank, payment processor, payment provider or money-transfer service. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any bank, wallet provider or payment company. It does not receive, hold, transfer, settle, reverse or confirm payments.
3. Accounts and permitted use
Users must provide accurate information, protect account access and use the service only for lawful businesses they own or are authorized to represent. Fraud, impersonation, misleading collection, unlawful content, infringement, malicious links and interference with the service are prohibited.
4. IBAN and QR responsibility
The user is responsible for every business name, IBAN, logo and detail submitted. Before using a QR, the user must review the complete IBAN, scan and test the QR with the intended payment application, confirm the intended recipient and replace every distributed copy after changing an IBAN. To the extent permitted by law, MX Design is not responsible for loss caused by incorrect or outdated user data, failure to test, third-party behavior or unauthorized alteration.
5. Purchases
The first eligible business may be free. Each additional business slot is a one-time in-app purchase at the price shown by Apple. Apple controls storefront currency, taxes, billing, receipts and its refund process. These purchases are not subscriptions. Account deletion may permanently remove consumed Bahrain QR entitlements and associated account records.
6. Third-party services and availability
The service depends on Apple, Cloudflare, internet access, banks, wallet providers and other third parties whose availability and decisions MX Design does not control. The service may be updated, limited or suspended for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons.
Staff and Kiosk Mode uses temporary invitations and revocable device access. Owners must share codes only with authorized people, review connected devices and protect each device's exit PIN. An offline device may continue displaying its last valid cached QR until it reconnects or exits Kiosk Mode.
7. Intellectual property
Bahrain QR software, layouts, brand assets and templates are protected. Users retain rights in submitted names and logos and grant MX Design limited permission to process them to provide the service. Users confirm they have permission to use submitted material.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis and is not banking, accounting, legal or payment advice. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that rule, MX Design is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, misdirected payments, third-party failure or use contrary to these Terms.
9. Termination, changes and law
Access may be suspended for fraud, unlawful activity, serious breach, security threats, abuse or legal requirements. Users may delete their account in the app. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, subject to mandatory consumer rights, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Bahrain. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
